CrossFit has had a profound impact on my life. I am a former couch potato who spent many years of my life, not just overweight, but morbidly obese.
One day I decided to get off the couch and make an effort to lose a little weight. The awesome and welcoming community and the constantly varied workouts that CrossFit provides had me hooked! I realized not only could I do difficult things, but that my efforts were making other aspects of my health and fitness journey easier to achieve. My consistent efforts -both in the gym and with my diet-resulted in a 150lb weight loss. I also gained many new friends and personal bests along the way.
After seeing what CrossFit did for me, I decided to get more involved and become a coach. I love coaching because it allows me to “pay it forward” and encourage others to realize their goals through consistent effort both in and out of the gym.
